Step 1: Log in at https://app.socialtrait.ai/ and click + New Research on the dashboard.
Step 2: Select Attention Heatmap.
Step 3: Upload your creative asset. Only one image can be uploaded per study. Supported asset types and formats.
Step 4: Write your Research Objective. Read the objective-writing guide.
Step 5: Select your Target Audience. Click the Target Audiences row to open the audience modal. Select a community from your organization's account and click Add. If you need a new community, click + Custom Audience. Read about audience options.
To run a contrastive heatmap study, click the Target Audiences row again after selecting your first community to add a second (max 2). The setup screen shows Target Audiences (1/2) and hints: "Click above to add a second audience for comparison." How to do a contrastive heatmap study.
Step 6: Add tags (optional). Tags can also be edited directly from the dashboard after the study is created. Using Tags.
Step 7: Click Kick-off Research to launch the study. The study name will be automatically generated by AI once the research is in progress.
Saving as a draft instead? You will be prompted to enter a name for the study before it can be saved.
You'll receive an email notification when results are ready. You do not need to stay logged in.
